Sink Roll & Stabilizing Roll

The sink roll system consists of a sink roll and two stabilizing rolls. The main function of the sink roll is to make the steel strip enter the zinc pot for zinc plating, and then turn out of the zinc pot for plating control and cooling. Two stabilizing rolls mainly control the tension of the steel strip and make the galvanizing stable. The sink roll system is the key equipment of the galvanizing line, and its repairing and maintenance directly affect the quality of the galvanizing sheets. Based on many yearts of production and maintenance for sink rolls, our experts team has kept the high-quality production control for sink roll. We Provided the Most Advanced Sink Roll Solutions

At present, the overall material of sink roll and stabilizing rolls is made of stainless steel. Our raw material is made of high-quality 316L stainless steel, so as to ensure the stable alloy content of the sink rolls & stabilizing rolls. Our sink rolls effectively control the segregation during the production process, so they can keep the maximize service life of the sink rolls. We can machine the surface grooves of sink rolls in accordance with the technical requirements of customers. At the same time, the engineer will offer the best optimization suggestions according to the grooves' dimensions and chamfers' dimensions to ensure the best fluidity for the zinc.

In order to ensure that sink rolls avoids appearance of roll marks in the working, we suggest spraying tungsten carbide coating on the surface of sink rolls & stabilizing rolls. Our surface treatment workshop can performa HOVF for sink rolls. Since the service life of sink roll is so important, our coating material are the world-renowned brands. At the same time, we can also spray SMS Siemag specified coatings for customers. Every process of our spraying has strict quality inspection to ensure that the hardness and roughness of the coating meet the best standards, and ensure our sink rolls could work for customer at least around 20days for the first time.

Shaft Sleeve & Bushing

Since the shaft sleeve and bushing will work in the zinc liquid pot, they have been attached by zinc every time. So, the shaft sleeve and bushing should have the characteristic of anit-corrosion to zinc liquid, wear-resistance, low friction coefficient. Base on this characteristic, we could offer the material such as Stellite material. Meanwhile, our technial teams have developed one kind of material which have more stable working performance.

In order to keep the best material for shaft sleeve and bushing, our technical team have ever tested many kinds of high alloyed materials. After observed macro crack propagation and morphology of corrosive wear surface through the instrument SEM, EPMA, TEM, XRD, we finally developed one kind of CrMoCo alloy material which have good working performance.

Φ120 sink roll shaft sleeve condition after servicing 18 days.

After 18days’ working, the wear of shaft sleeve of sink roll is Φ1.72mm.

Φ70 stabilizing roll shaft sleeve condition after servicing 14 days.
Working condition:

After 14days’ working, the wear of shaft sleeve of sink roll is Φ0.62mm.
